About Guardianship

The purpose of the Guardianship Program is to provide guardianship and/or conservatorship service through court appointment for adults with developmental disabilities who are receiving services or financial assistance and who have no other individual or entity qualified and/or willing to serve in this capacity. Advocate Legal offers guardianship class for those seeking to become guardians. If you prefer self study get the manual (required for the class).

Guardianship Class & Manual

Advocate Legal's training class includes assistance with completing the state mandated training video and guardianship registration for non-professional guardians as set forth by the Judicial Branch Certification Commision (JBCC).
